Trigger Finger Shelf

tfscloseupFirst, read about the Trigger Finger Index Point.  Then, understand that once the finger is off the trigger, the next level of safety is to create a physical barrier to prevent the finger from a going into the trigger guard if there is a “convulsive clutch” response.  Experts tell us that this mod can actually improve reaction time:  with the finger “pressed” against the index point, the first step in moving to the trigger is to relax that pressure; with the finger “resting” against the trigger finger shelf, that step is eliminated.  (Patent approved in conjunction with Bruce Siddle.)
